staghorn

the little file devised an alternative to convenience
a side-by-side delinquent apparition
contrived to be described in paper lights
billowed oxygen floodgates between

Our noses have started to fuse gently the
cohesion our fingernails are breeding
a nice eternal symmetry while our faces
are biting each others' lips our ears
taste only the beat of animal organs
our arms freedom to our chests as
we press arm over arm leg over
belly our belly only one our hips
vessels of expressive joy our eyes
itching while kissing while tugging at
walls sounding a call come here right
now our brains are growing more
great and disparate while seeing the
truth finally our resignation from an
existence in loneliness our determination
as much from our hearts as our love
